The hotel has a large collection of original paintings by Norwegian artists. Famous art collection consists of paintings by Nils Bergslien but also “Garnbinderen” by Christian Krogh, and pictures of Morten Muller, Hans Dahl, Anders Askvoll and more. The famous artist, Nils Bergslien, used to live at Tyssedal Hotel, painting pictures for food and accommodation. In his works, you meet trolls and fairytale creatures.
